Adding curved or circular text on PowerPoint is easy by learning WordArt and PowerPoint Transforming Effects. If you don’t know how to write or transform plain text into circular or curved text on PowerPoint then this article should help you. 

In this article, I am going to show you how to write circular text or transform plain text into a curve shape in PowerPoint 2007 and 2013 versions.

Follow all the steps as mentioned below to curved/write circular text in the MS PowerPoint 2007.

Step 1: Open PowerPoint and then click on the Insert option showing on the “Menu bar” and then click on  WordArt option, then  WordArt Style dialog box will appear, select a WordArt style from the dialog box.

Step 2: Point your mouse on the WordArt placeholder and press Ctrl+A to select all the highlighted text and press the Space key then type your own text.

Step 3: Now select your WordArt text and then go to Drawing Tools [ Drawing Tools will appear on top]  then Format and then click on  Text Effects [under the WordArt Style section], then the Text Effects dialog box will appear. Now click on Transform, the bottom of the Text Effects dialog box, and then select “Circle Text” under the ” Follow Path” section.

Step 4: Then PowerPoint will automatically transform your text into a curve text. Now you can customize the shape of text into a circular text or curved text with the help of editing points according to your needs.

That’s done, your plain text is successfully transformed now into a circular text form.

Follow all the steps mentioned below to insert a curved or circular text in the MS PowerPoint 2013.

Step 1: Open PowerPoint 2013 and click on INSERT > WordArt, then the WordArt dialog box will open. Now select a WordArt design

Step 2: Now select all the text highlighted in WordArt placeholder and press the Space key, then type your own text.

Step 3: Then go to FORMAT under the DRAWING TOOLS and click on Text Effect > Transform > Circle

Step 4: Now your text will automatically transform into curved text. Transform the shape into a circle with the help of the editing points.
